St. Louis Blues vs. Columbus Blue Jackets Prediction: Can Joel Hofer, Blues Dominate?

St. Louis Blues vs. Columbus Blue Jackets Prediction

This is a good rebound spot for the Blues who are off a day of rest and should be motivated tonight. They played an excellent game at Vegas earlier in the week and got the two points with an overtime victory. Then in St. Louis, the Blues had a 3-1 lead leaving the first period with a great opportunity to grab back-to-back wins over Vegas but got throttled in the next two periods to lose 6-3.

With that said, St. Louis is still 13-11-1 and they have done a great job rebounding from losses, they have a good opportunity to do it here and should be able to take advantage of it.

Columbus is on the back end of a back-to-back after getting lit up in a 7-3 loss to the Islanders last night. They are beat up right now and should be without Patrik Laine again. They have lost four of their last five and Spencer Martin will be between the pipes with Elvis Merzlikins still out. I like this spot for young Joel Hofer and the St. Louis Blues.
