We have a small slate today, but there is one game I love and am ready to dive into. The Florida Panthers (33-15-4) are heading to PPG Paint Arena for a clash with the Pittsburgh Penguins (23-19-7), as the Cats look to win their fourth straight head-to-head.

This Pittsburgh squad just seems like they are defeated for some reason. Despite having a stellar core group of forwards in Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Jake Guentzel, with support on the back-end from Kris Letang and Erik Karlsson, who was supposed to make this team even better, they have had no gas this season. They have scored two goals or less in five of their last seven games, and are sitting in seventh place in the metropolitan division. Don't get it twisted, they are only six points out of a playoff spot and have so much time to make a move, I just don't see it right now and not tonight.
The Cats on the other hand look exceptional. One of my favorite Stanley Cup contenders has won six of seven with veteran netminder Sergei Bobrovsky finding his groove between the pipes. I love the way this squad is playing hockey, and will ride them at this price any time I can. The trend I brought up a few weeks ago continues, on these moderately priced money lines (-115 to -140 range) the Cats are lethal this season with a 15-3 record. I love this spot for Florida.
