Well well well, I am double dipping again. I might even triple dip when it is all said and done. This is a weird game to wager - do you continue to fade the team on the 13 game skid hoping this isn't the game they decide to finally win for pride or do you expect an effort out of the team trying to snap a losing streak? I think a combination of both.

At this point it is just outright embarrassing and I want to fade them but you also have to think the Desert Dogs will start fighting. The last five straight meetings between these two squads have gone over averaging 8.8 goals per game - that is a lot.
I think we see plenty of goals here again but most importantly, I think they come early if we get there. Brady Tkachuk's Ottawa team remains the best first period over team in the league and they are on an absolutely outrageous run. They are leading the league hitting at a 68.42% clip on the 1p o1.5's and are 7-3 across their last ten. They also lead the league for GIFT's at a higher rate of 71.93% and are 8-2 across their last ten.
Moral of the story, they tend to score early and if Arizona finds themselves down early again, I do not see much fight. If they want to break this run, they need to get something started in the first period. I am backing Ottawa and the first period over, if the first period goes under but I like the pace, I will live bet the full game total.
