Well we have a small Friday NHL slate but I actually am digging some of these spots. We are digging a bit though, these aren't your biggest stand out wagers but after diving into the numbers I really like a couple spots on the board tonight so let's dive in. The first game I want to get into takes us to the nations capitol as the Philadelphia Flyers (31-22-7) visit the Washington Capitals (27-22-9) in a divisional clash I am excited for.

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Washington Capitals Prediction
I feel as though this is misplaced. Dylan Strome and Washington has been in excellent form outside of the thrashing they suffered in the 8-3 loss to Detroit the other night so they will be looking to bounce back here. They have scored 22 goals across their last six games and have won four of the the six; the Great Eight has really seemed ageless this season putting together a great point steak and he has the guys around him playing better as well.
Back on home ice against a division rival tonight, I expect a really strong effort form the Caps. Despite being in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division, they are just a win away from being in a playoff spot. Literally, if New Jersey loses in regulation tonight and the Capitals win, they will leap frog the Isles and Devils.
The squad is very much in the hunt and I expect the veterans to push this team. The Flyers have seen five of their last seven go over despite not having Travis Konecny last week and they are coming off of back to back six goal games. I am double dipping on the total here!
