Friday night puck! We have two great games on tonight and although we have been covering the Boston/Florida series very closely, I want to head up north for this one. The Edmonton Oilers are in British Columbia for a clash with the Vancouver Canucks at the Rogers Arena and I expect another action packed affair between these two squads.

EDMONTON OILERS VS. VANCOUVER CANUCKS GAME 2 PREDICTION
Edmonton had one of the worst sell jobs I have ever seen in a hockey game the other night, even more-so a playoff game. Leading 4-1 with 2:49 remaining in the second, Edmonton conceded four straight and went on to lose in regulation. They had just 16 shots on goal and fell apart defensively. Tonight, I expect Edmonton to throw everything they have at Vancouver and bring a lot of pace but now that the Canucks virtually stole Game 1, I expect them to feel very comfortable here.
The over has now hit in five of six for Edmonton on the postseason and the one game that did not go over still pushed the total. With Vancouver now having won six straight against them, it feels like time Edmonton breaks their streak and they really need to to avoid going down 2-0 but I feel like this is the right play. Four of their last five head to head cleared this number, add in the empty net factor as well.
