5 minArsenal vs. Paris Saint-Germain Prediction, Best Bet, Latest Champions League Semi-Finals Odds for Leg 2
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) returns to Parc des Princes in Paris, France to attempt closing out Arsenal during the second leg of their Champions League Semi-Finals match. The Parisians hold a 1-0 lead via aggregate.
PSG shut down The Gunners on the road during the first leg of this Champions League Semi-Finals match. PSG's leading goal scorer, Ousmane Dembélé, netted the lone goal in the fourth minute. The Parisians won possession at 52.1 percent and finished with one more shot attempt than Arsenal.
Now, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will try to will his team to a final, which would end a 19-year drought for The Gunners. The pressure is fully on Arsenal entering today's match, down 1-0 and trying to erase this deficit in a hostile road environment.
PSG has plenty of confidence, eliminating Liverpool and Aston Villa before taking a 1-0 lead in this Semi-Finals match. The Parisians will look to hold onto their 1-0 aggregate lead at home today against Arsenal, especially with Dembélé available to play following a recent injury.
Oddsmakers are valuing PSG as a home favorite for Leg 2 with their moneyline set to +125 odds. Arsenal is +215 to win today's match in regulation, while a Draw is available to bet at +250 odds. 2.5 total goals is set to -136 on over 2.5, with +112 odds for under 2.5.
Matt MacKay has his latest pick for the second leg of this UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona's inability to close out Inter, leading to 4-3 loss in extra time, resulted in a losing pick yesterday. Let's bounce back with a winning ticket in Arsenal vs. PSG today.

Arsenal vs. PSG Prediction
Arsenal is a great defensive team that isn't exactly built to erase a deficit. The Gunners will need to be aggressive early to score an equalizer, so expect either Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz or Martin Ødegaard to be tasked with finishing a possession in the back of the net for Arsenal.
Dembélé is the clear-cut scorer for PSG, scoring eight goals in 13 Champions League matches. He'll remain the focal point of the Parisians offense, although it's difficult to break through Arsenal's stout defense.
Unlike yesterday's game, which was an explosive offensive tilt with seven total goals scored, we could see a much lower-scoring affair in Paris today. PSG was in a similar spot against Liverpool in the Round of 16, except they entered Leg 2 down 1-0 on aggregate. The Parisians wound up with a 1-0 lead in regulation, which led to them beating Liverpool with penalty kicks.
Arsenal has flexed its offensive muscle numerous times throughout this year's Champions League tournament. The Gunners beat PSV Eindhoven 9-3 on aggregate in the Round of 16, including a seven goal match. Then, Arsenal scored five goals in a 5-1 rout of Real Madrid in the Quarter-Finals.
Arsenal cannot afford to go down 1-0 in today's match. Unlike Barcelona, who easily erased a 2-0 deficit at halftime, The Gunners aren't nearly as talented on offense to execute a similar comeback. Expect a lot of pressure in the attacking third early on Tuesday, with Arsenal in desperation mode to knot this Semi-Finals match at 1-1.
Goaltending is also a big piece of the handicap between Arsenal and PSG. Gianluigi Donnarumma and David Raya have each displayed their talent defending the net this year.
I have a lot more confidence in PSG. The Parisians hold a 1-0 lead, return home, and don't have a history of coming up short in big matches like Arsenal. Ultimately, I think the pressure will be too much for The Gunners to overcome.
PSG has closed out nearly all of their opponents after taking a lead on aggregate historically. Arsenal is 0-5 in elimination games after losing the first leg at home.
Let's bet a unit on PSG in the Draw No Bet market and lay the juice at -156 odds. A 90-minute tie returns our stake with this wager, while PSG winning in regulation settles as a win.
