Inter Milan returns home to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano, Italy to host the second leg of the Champions League Semifinal match against Barcelona on Tuesday. Both clubs put on a goal-scoring clinic during the first leg last week, winding up tied 3-3 on aggregate heading into tonight's high-stakes game.
Barcelona gets back one of its primary goal scorers, F Robert Lewandowski. The 36-year-old striker has 11 goals in Champions League play, despite not playing since suffering an injury in Spanish LALIGA on April 19th. Meanwhile, Lautaro Martínez, Inter's leading goal scorer (8), has overcome his thigh injury and will be on the pitch against Barcelona.

Inter grabbed an early 2-0 lead on the road in Spain during Leg 1. This included a goal in the first minute to seize momentum. Barcelona countered with its first goal three minutes after going down 2-0, cutting the deficit to one. Barcelona F Ferran Torres leveled the score 2-2 going into half time.
Inter's Denzel Dumfries scored his second goal of the match in the 63rd minute to briefly take the lead for the third time in Leg 1. An own goal happened two minutes later as Barcelona benefitted from this lucky break, finishing the match tied 3-3.
The return of Barcelona F Robert Lewandowski is massive. The Spanish LALIGA club is undoubtedly the most talented offense remaining in the UEFA Champions League, especially with Lewandowski back in the fold. It remains to be seen how much time the Polish forward will log but expect an impactful performance when Lewandowski is in the attacking third.
Inter isn't going to be a pushover, especially at home, with multiple ways to effectively counter Barcelona's high press attack. However, I can't ignore the value we're getting on the Spaniards to advance to the Champions League Final.
