Jesper De Jong vs. Tristan Boyer Prediction

De Jong is ranked 143 on the ATP Tour, significantly higher than Boyer at 366, but the American has gone on a steep ascent from ranking 858 in April, jumping above 400 for the first time this season after his outing at Stanford. De Jong, however, has struggled on hard court, with an 0-1 record on the ATP Tour. His match record is 0-3 overall, while only winning 10 percent of return games. De Jong has been much more stable with his singles ranking this year, moving up from 251 in April to his current 143 rank, which is the highest it's been based on his outright win in Poland last weekend.

This should be an entertaining matchup.; either way, the results go. De Jong is leaner and smaller, but Boyer has the height and length at 6'1 while falling short in the Semi-Final at Stanford a week ago. FanDuel Sportsbook has De Jong valued as the moneyline favorite at -170 odds, while Boyer is a marginal underdog at +138 odds. Boyer's ascension has been quite impressive this year, but De Jong is a proven winner and remains ranked well above Boyer, so despite the juice on De Jong's moneyline odds, let's keep it simple and roll with the Dutch favorite.
