LOTS ROAD showed his appreciation for the rise to 1m1f when making light of his initial handicap mark at Goodwood, powering six lengths clear of Under Arrest. If that performance can be taken at face value, a 6lb penalty isn't going to stop him from following up and he could be a decent middle-distance prospect next year. Girl Scout has come into her own since encountering rain-softened conditions, completing a Haydock double. She is by the speedy Perfect Power but races as if she will stay, although Noble Prince is weighted to close the gap on her.
