Rap Soul and The Grey Man both failed in hat-trick bids when last seen, although the former's Fontwell third was significantly better than the top-weight's Haydock non-completion. Crystello isn't bred for fences but still enters the equation, while Jack's Jury and Owl Of Athens have been rested since wins at Newton Abbot (over hurdles) and Huntingdon respectively. GUSTAPOF showed precious little over timber in his first campaign for Rebecca Curtis, but his rating has plummeted and he showed decent form over the larger obstacles in France so could be primed to capitalise.
