Forecast Prices: Jacinth 5/2, Kingmania 6/1, Perfect Times 3/1, Operatic 8/1, Lady Hayes 11/2, Neptunes Wonder 10/1, Shesells Sanctuary 14/1, Olivia Brend 20/1, Whatitizz 33/1, Copper Kitten 33/1

Sporting Life Preview

Perfect Times made a winning debut at Kempton but the second has let the form down since and she may struggle to give 7lb to JACINTH (NAP). William Haggas’ filly was well supported on debut at Newbury and, though no match for the impressive Fly Miss Helen, would have finished closer had she not been hampered at the start – Whatitizz is held on that run. Lady Hayes is a half-sister to a middle-distance winner but Operatic is more speedily bred. Kingmania is a likely improver and may be best of the rest.

oddschecker Verdict

Simon and Ed Crisford have their team in top form currently and newcomer OPERATIC could make a winning debut for the father/son team. A 78,000 euros yearling, the daughter of Showcasing is related to plenty of useful winners, including Robert The Painter, and might be forward enough to take this. Perfect Times has the burden of a 7lb penalty for coming out on top at Kempton last month but remains open to further progress being a daughter of Gleneagles, while Jacinth was third on debut at Newbury and could also take a step forward.

Prediction: 1st Operatic, 2nd Perfect Times, 3rd Jacinth
