Liverpool are back on track to sign England’s 2022 World Cup star Jude Bellingham in the January transfer window.

Liverpool are now best price 4/1 favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham (5/2 worst) after reports suggested a deal for the 19-year-old is “very, very close”.

Bellingham makes World Cup statement
Of course, we now know that football isn’t coming home, but that’s not to say Bellingham himself let anyone down. The box-to-box midfielder was seriously impressive throughout England’s run to the quarter-finals having announced himself on the international tournament stage against Iran.

A slightly early exit means we probably can’t call it that, leaving the stage free for Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe to fight it out for the tournament’s top individual honours. Bellingham’s time will come, though, and he will probably now get a big move in January.
