Jude Bellingham Next Club Odds: Liverpool 4/1 to sign England star in January

Liverpool are back on track to sign England’s 2022 World Cup star Jude Bellingham in the January transfer window.

Who are the favourites to sign Jude Bellingham?

Liverpool are now best price 4/1 favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham (5/2 worst) after reports suggested a deal for the 19-year-old is “very, very close”.

This means we’ve come full circle in the next club odds market for Bellingham. Liverpool started the season as favourites to sign him, yet as England kicked off their World Cup campaign in Qatar it was Manchester City who had shortened into 3/1 (having been 8/1 at the start of November).

Bellingham can now be backed at a best price 6/1 (9/2 worst) to land at the Etihad in January. Real Madrid, meanwhile, remain the most likely outside of England’s two most recent Premier League champions. The reigning La Liga and Champions League winners can be backed at 11/1.

Bellingham makes World Cup statement

Of course, we now know that football isn’t coming home, but that’s not to say Bellingham himself let anyone down. The box-to-box midfielder was seriously impressive throughout England’s run to the quarter-finals having announced himself on the international tournament stage against Iran.

Having completed 97% of his attempted passes, 100% of his dribbles, won 100% of his tackles and made an interception in a complete midfield display, Twitter favourite Sam McGuire predicted that Qatar 2022 could well be Bellingham’s World Cup.

A slightly early exit means we probably can’t call it that, leaving the stage free for Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe to fight it out for the tournament’s top individual honours. Bellingham’s time will come, though, and he will probably now get a big move in January.
