Ballyburn Cheltenham 2024 Odds: Supreme or Baring Bingham?

Ballyburn Cheltenham 2024 Odds: Supreme or Baring Bingham?

Ballyburn has been among the ante-post favourites for both the Supreme and Baring Bingham at the Cheltenham Festival.

Close to 40% of the bets on the Baring Bingham Novices’ Hurdle through oddschecker in the last 24 hours have gone the way of Ballyburn (best price 5/4 on BetMGM), now expected to line up in Wednesday’s opener rather than the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.

None of the other horses still entered in the race, formerly known as the Ballymore, have attracted more than 15% of the backing in the last 24 hours (14% for Mystical Power).

The victory for Tullyhill (now 9/2 for the Supreme) at Punchestown in February initially sparked the change in betting, with punters starting to speculate that he would be the lead choice for master trainer Willie Mullins in the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival.
