- Willie Mullins has trained the winner of the Supreme Novices' Hurdle in five of the last 12 renewals
- 26 of the previous 33 Arkle Chase winners were aged six or seven
- 16 of the previous 22 winners of the Arkle had run three or four times over fences
- Irish trained horses 0-46 in the Ultima Handicap Chase since 2006
- Seven of the last 10 Ultima winners had all run at Cheltenham so far that season
- 14 of the previous 17 Mares' Hurdle winners were trained in Ireland
- 10 of the previous 17 Mares' Hurdle winners were trained by Willie Mullins
- The Champion Hurdle has been won by an odds-on favourite for the past three years and it is in fact a race that favourites have a superb record in with 10 winning favourites in the past 14 renewals
