Boxing broadcaster Dom McGuiness shares his prediction and betting tip – available to back at best price 7/4 on Betfred – for the ‘Battle of the Baddest’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Prediction

Ngannou doesn't have an amateur or pro bout on his boxing record – he is a star from MMA but he hasn’t had any competitive action for getting on for two years.

Tyson Fury last fought Derek Chisora at the end of last year, but surely this is all one way traffic. Fury can end this whenever he wants, whether that’s the first round or the 10th. I don’t think he’ll want to invite too much criticism so I don’t think the bout will go very early.

What’s likely to happen is Fury will play with Ngannou – a big heavy fella who will gas as the fight goes on. He’ll find the pace very tough.

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Tips | Boxing Betting Tips

My betting tip is Fury to end the contest between rounds four and six. I think that would give everyone a bit of a show. It would also be about the right timing for Fury - he gets a couple of rounds under his belt, plays the crowd and everyone will then await the fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

I don't think Fury will risk any kind of injury. He'll play it safe, move around and have some fun. Between rounds four and six, Fury will end this as a contest and move on to the fight that the world wants to see against Usyk.
