Sampdoria v Frosinone - 14:00

In Serie A, I have Champions League-chasing Sampdoria to beat struggling Frosinone. It’s been a tough few weeks for Sampdoria – winning just one of their last four matches – although at home they’re pretty formidable, and have won their last four at the Luigi Ferraris, scoring 12 times in the process.

Frosinone have lost three of their last four, and have just two victories all season; though they thrashed Bologna in their last away game (the hosts did have a man sent off after 13 minutes), this should still be a routine home win.

Sampdoria - 1pt @ 11/20

Werder Bremen v Augsburg - 14:30

Next, I have Werder Bremen to beat an Augsburg side who are really poor travellers.

Bremen, fresh from a DFB Pokal shootout victory against Borussia Dortmund, have been a little inconsistent of late – drawing four of their last six matches – though they come up against an Augsburg outfit who have just one away point from their last five matches.

The hosts are nine points ahead Augsburg in the Bundesliga, and I’m backing them to do the business in their own back yard.

Werder Bremen - 1pt @ 17/20

Guingamp v Lille - 16:00

I can’t for the life of me work out why Lille are such a big price to beat Ligue 1 strugglers Guingamp.

The visitors have won their last four league matches, their last four away matches, and sit second in the table.

Guingamp, who lost 9-0 against PSG a couple of weeks ago, have just one home win all season (with three defeats in their last four at Stade de Roudourou). They also have just 16 league goals, so an away win must surely be a banker.

Lille - 1pt @ 33/25

Fortuna Dusseldorf v VfB Stuttgart - 17:00

Fortuna Dusseldorf have done a fantastic job distancing themselves from the Bundesliga relegation zone, winning four of their last six, pulling seven points clear of Stuttgart in the play-offs.

I’m backing them to beat Die Roten on Sunday, who have lost eight of their 10 away games this term, failing to score in six of them.

Fortuna are improving, while Stuttgart look lost. 8/7 is also a massive price for a home win.

Fortuna Dusseldorf - 1pt @ 57/50

Sevilla v Eibar - 17:30

Don’t let Sevilla’s recent form fool you, they’re still very likely to beat Eibar on Sunday. Pablo Machín’s side may have lost three of their last four matches, but those defeats all came away from home, where Sevilla have struggled all season.

On their own patch, however, they are incredible. With seven wins and one draw (against Atletico Madrid) in their last eight home matches, Sevilla are well worth backing.

Eibar are no slouches, but their form on the road leaves a lot to be desired. The Basque side have just one victory on their travels, and have failed to score in over half of their away encounters.

A Sevilla victory is a nice way to round off this meaty European acca.
