15:00 Saturday
Tottenham vs Leeds – Tottenham
Spurs aren’t in the best form at the moment, with three losses in their last five in the league and they were knocked out of the EFL cup on Wednesday night by Nottingham Forest. Tottenham fans have started to get a bit bored of Conte’s defensive set up, despite them sitting within the Champions League places.
They welcome a Leeds side whose form has started to turn around in recent weeks, with a huge win at Anfield a bright point. They have won two in a row and will be looking to make it three on the bounce when they visit North London. However, we don’t think they’ll be able to and Tottenham will have a bit too much quality for them on the day.
15:00 Saturday
Liverpool vs Southampton – Liverpool
Southampton have just appointed Nathan Jones as their new boss and the Saints will be hoping for a new manager bounce when they visit Liverpool. The Reds have been nowhere near their best this season and were even beaten at home a few weeks ago by Leeds, so Southampton will have hope.
Liverpool lost two in a row only a few weeks ago so Jurgen Klopp will be looking for a reaction to keep within touching distance of the top four. We think he’ll get just that and Liverpool will come away with all three points at home.
15:00 Saturday
Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace – Crystal Palace
Coming off the back of a stunning cup victory over Tottenham this week, Forest will come into this game with confidence and will be looking to turn that win into a good run of form. Their league form has not been as positive, with only one win in their last five as they sit rock bottom of the league.
They welcome a Palace side who have some significant attacking talent within their ranks and have been very good in recent weeks, winning three in their last five. They beat West Ham in a highly competitive fixture last week with a last minute winner and we expect them to pick up another win on the road here.
15:00 Saturday
Bournemouth vs Everton – Everton
Both these sides have been poor in recent weeks and are well within the relegation battle. Everton have only one win in their last five with one draw and have started to peter off after a good defensive start to the season.
The Cherries, meanwhile, have been in even worse form and would make it five losses on the bounce should Everton come away with the win. We expect them to do just that. Despite a poor run of form, we feel Everton have more quality in their squad and pose more of an attacking threat.
