Italy vs North Macedonia – Italy Half Time/Full Time

The first leg of our Friday treble is from Italy as they host a North Macedonian side in Group C of the Qualification stages at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

North Macedonia come into this game desperate for a win to keep their hopes alive of Qualifying for the main Tournament next summer. Recent results and form don’t look very promising for North Macedonia as they are coming off the back of a mixed set of result having won two of their last five games and in the process conceded 14 goals.

Italy, meanwhile, come into this game off the back of a 3-1 defeat to England at Wembley, where they got outplayed in all departments. Although Italy have a game in hand over second-place Ukraine, they will be hoping that they can take the spoils this evening, and get back to winning ways. Last time out between the two sides Italy were held to a 1-1 draw away from home.

Knowing that Italy need a win this evening and will undoubtedly be putting out a strong starting 11 we are going for Italy to win both halves.

England vs Malta – England Win by 4 or more goals

England's last home match in the nearly flawless Euro 2024 qualifying campaign takes place at Wembley, where they face underdogs Malta in a Group C clash on Friday.

Despite already securing the top spot in the group, Gareth Southgate's team aim to maximise points this month to boost their chances of being placed in Pot 1 for the group-stage draw.

 

Seeking revenge against Italy for their Euro 2020 heartbreak, England sealed their trip to Germany with a convincing victory over the reigning champions. Despite a momentary setback with an own goal, Harry Kane's two goals and Marcus Rashford's finish secured a comeback win.

Whether Southgate chooses a full-strength lineup or a revamped XI against Malta, the expected outcome is a resounding victory that strengthens England's Pot 1 aspirations.

Despite the return of Teuma and Jones for Malta, hopes of breaching England's defence are likely to be dashed, leading to a harsh reality for Maltese fans.

Poland vs Czech Republic – Poland

In a pivotal Euro 2024 Group E qualifier on Friday, Poland hosts the Czech Republic in Warsaw, which marks the last leg of our Friday Treble.

The hosts face a must-win situation in their final group game to keep any hope of advancing alive. On the other hand, the Czechs have the opportunity to secure qualification with a victory, provided Moldova falters against Albania.

Before the October internationals, Poland had only six points, suffering defeats in Czechia, Moldova, and Albania.

Despite coach Probierz taking over from the Under-21s, the team's fortunes haven't improved significantly.

Probierz's debut saw Poland labor to a narrow victory against 10-man Faroe Islands, followed by a disappointing 1-1 draw at home with Moldova in the last match. Now, a series of remarkable results are needed for Poland to have any chance of automatic qualification.
