Macca has put together a great looking bet builder for the first match of the weekend in the Premier League.
Macca explains each part of the bet builder, with the option to back each individual leg directly through oddschecker at best price.
João Pedro Over 1.5 Shots
If there’s one thing João Pedro likes to do, it’s taking a shot and that can be from anywhere. He averages 3.21 shots per game over Brighton’s last 30 Premier League games.
He had three shots against Manchester United last weekend, scoring the winner in the 95th minute. For a player with this data and riding confidence, it’s an enticing price for just two shots for the forward.
Jack Hinshelwood Over 0.5 Fouls
This selection is less about Jack Hinshelwood (sorry Jack) and more about Bukayo Saka. Saka is drawing 2.05 fouls per game on averaging and started the campaign drawing two fouls against Wolves and four fouls against Villa.
The left backs in those games both picked up two fouls. If you look at the reverse fixture, Pervis Estupiñán was at left back for Brighton and up against Saka. He also committed two fouls. I’m confident adding a single Hinshelwood foul to the bet builder given what we know.
Declan Rice Over 0.5 Fouls
Rice has committed a foul in nine of his last 10 starts, accumulating three yellow cards in that period. Brighton are no easy team to play against and I’m happy to add a rice foul to this bet builder.
Although only two games in, Arsenal have averaged 16.5 fouls over the opening games which is much higher than the average of 12.5.
Another stat to look at is Arsenal’s PPDA (Passes per defensive action in the oppositions half) Arsenal’s sits near the bottom of the table so far at 6.73 which ultimately means so far this campaign they’ve shown to be extremely high pressing team. That bodes well for the fouls.
