16:30 Sunday

Liverpool can lift their 20th top flight trophy with just a draw here against Tottenham.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Prediction

  • Liverpool's 1-0 win at Leicester combined with Crystal Palace's 2-2 draw at Arsenal in midweek means the Reds need only to avoid defeat to be crowned Premier League champions.
  • Expect a party atmosphere at Anfield as the Premier League leaders welcome a team that struggles on Merseyside.
  • Tottenham's priority is the Europa League and with one eye on their semi-final meeting with Bodoe/Glimt, a much-changed Spurs side is unlikely to pose too much of a threat.
  • The north London side have routinely faltered at Anfield having last won here in 2011.
  • The reverse fixture ended in a 6-3 win for Liverpool, and another goalfest is expected on Sunday afternoon with Liverpool wrestling the title from Manchester City in style.

Score Prediction: Liverpool 5-2 Tottenham

Liverpool vs Tottenham Team News

  • Joe Gomez is the only player missing for Liverpool ahead of Sunday's welcome of Tottenham.
  • Arne Slot could make two changes to the side that started against Leicester last week, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson coming in for Conor Bradley and Kostas Tsimikas, respectively.
  • Otherwise, expect Slot to name his strongest XI as Liverpool close in on the title.
  • Radu Dragusin is a long-term absentee for Tottenham and won't feature again until next season.
  • Son Heung-Min has missed Spurs' last three matches and owing to a foot issue and this one comes too soon for the Spurs captain.
  • With top-flight safety assured, Ange Postecoglou should go with a much-changed side with the Europa League the priority.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tips

Our Bet Builder tips for Liverpool vs Tottenham features Mo Salah to Score Anytime, Both Teams to Score & Salah to be Carded

At the time of publishing this is a best price of 10/1 with SpreadEX.

  • Salah is Liverpool’s talisman and the Premier League’s top scorer with 27 goals this season. He scored twice and assisted twice in the 6-3 win over Tottenham earlier this season and has a strong record against Spurs, with four goals in his last three games against them. Despite a recent dip, Tottenham’s shaky defense and the title being on the line makes this a solid pick.
  • Both teams have strong attacking records but defensive vulnerabilities. Liverpool have seen BTTS in 11 of their last 14 games, while Tottenham have conceded in 13 of their last 15 matches. Their earlier 6-3 league meeting this season and historical high-scoring encounters (four of the last six meetings had over 3.5 goals) support this pick. Tottenham’s focus on the Europa League semi-final might not dull their attack, as they’ve scored in 19 of their 26 away games.
  • A slightly more speculative pick is Salah to be carded. We have already tipped him to score and providing that happens, with the league title potentially won today, we could see him take his shirt off in celebration. He has 10 yellow cards in his Premier League career and five of those are from taking his shirt off when celebrating including earlier in the season against Southampton.
