The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is set to begin tonight at 8:00 pm ET from Truist Park, and the stars will be shining in Atlanta. The real question is who will deliver under the bright lights?
Tarik Skubal and Paul Skenes will lead off for both sides, and it's no secret why. They've delivered dominant seasons so far, and both lead in the respective AL and NL Cy Young Award Race. The starters likely won't stay in long with a large depth of pitching rotation, but they'll definitely have a few innings to leave their mark on the game.

The most valuable player in the MLB is continuing to shine for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and leads the regular season NL MVP race at -800 over Pete Crow-Armstrong and Juan Soto.
He's got 32 homers (third-most) and a .276 batting average for the Dodgers as they continue to grow their lead in the NL West. But even more importantly, he's back on the mound for LA, throwing a few innings here and there for a team riddled with pitching injuries. They don't want to rush him back too fast, but he's been solid so far.
Ohtani is not slated to pitch for the NL All-Stars on Tuesday night, but he will be the DH and lead off. That gives him an even better chance to win MVP, likely getting the most plate appearances of any batter tonight.

The New York Yankees have been knocked down a peg after a red-hot start, and find themselves trailing the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL East. Aaron Judge has also been overtaken as the MLB Home Run leader by Cal Raleigh, who comes into the All-Star Break with 38, while Judge is a smidge behind at 35.
But don't get it twisted, Judge still maintains a massive lead in the AL MVP race at -575 odds, far surpassing Raleigh at +350. That gap has tightened in recent days though, with Judge formerly up at -2000 odds or more. Judge may be losing in the homer race, but he is batting .355 compared to Raleigh's .259, who is more of a home run or bust player.
Judge is one of the main favorites for MVP tonight too, and the leading candidate on the AL side. If you think he can send one deep or outperform Ohtani, Judge may be worth a selection here.

The Atlanta Braves recently got superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. back from an extended absence, and it looked like he missed no time at all. Acuña returned in his first game from the ACL injury on May 23rd, and proceeded to blast the first pitch for a home run.
He's batting .333 with 12 homers in his first 45 games back, although he's been unable to pick up the slumping Braves from their struggles after an atrocious start to the season. Can he reclaim some glory for ATL in their home stadium tonight? Acuña Jr. could be a solid longshot play at Truist Park if you don't think one of the top stars will take it.
