NBA MVP Rankings
1. Nikola Jokic (-150) (Bet $150 to collect $250)
Since the All-Star break, the Nuggets have won six consecutive games. Jokic has added four triple-doubles in those six games and has scored at least 32 points in two of those six games.
Jokic has scored nearly 26 points per game this season while shooting 58.1% from the field. He's also hauled in 12.2 rebounds and has averaged 9.2 assists this year.
The Nuggets are getting hot. That'll only help Jokic win the MVP Award.
2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+220) (Bet $100 to collect $230)
Second place still belongs to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander right now. He's added at least 31 points in nine straight games.
In February, he finished the month averaging more than 30 points per game despite taking more than 20 shots per game. With those 20 shots, he averaged 55.9% from the field.
He's been remarkable and has the Thunder in a territory only Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden took the franchise to.
Yup, he's now in that territory.
3. Luka Doncic (+800) (Bet $100 to collect $900)
Luka Doncic is the league's most consistent scorer. He's earned 34.5 points per game to lead the entire NBA.
However, Dallas has lost four of six games coming out of the All-Star Break despite Doncic putting up at least 30 points in every game.
This season, Doncic has averaged 34.5 points this season with 8.9 rebounds and 9.7 assists. On paper, he's got tremendous stats. However, Dallas must start winning for Doncic to be considered in this race.
4. Giannis Antetokounmpo (+1400) (Bet $100 to collect $1500)
The Bucks had been hearing a lot of chatter before the All-Star Break. The team couldn't figure out how to win with Doc Rivers at the helm.
But since the break, the Bucks are undefeated, and Giannis has added at least 30 points in three of the five games since.
The Bucks have also earned at least 111 points in every game, and Giannis has added at least 12 rebounds in all but one game since the break.
Antetokounmpo still has the potential to win the award. After all, he's shooting 61.9% from the field and averaging 30.8 points with 11.3 rebounds.
5. Jayson Tatum (+2500) (Bet $100 to collect $2600)
Statistically, the Boston Celtics are the best team in the NBA this year. They're led by Jayson Tatum, who has been more consistent recently.
He's not putting up the numbers that the guys above him are. But he's the best player on the best team in the NBA. That has to get some recognition.
Tatum has scored 27.1 points per game with 8.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists, but he's only shooting 47.8% from the field.
I wouldn't bet Tatum to win the MVP, but I'd look for ways to bet the Celtics to win the Championship, with Tatum leading the way.
If you want to bet Tatum to win the MVP, wait until the NBA Finals. Then, bet him to win the MVP in that.
