College Football Bowl Game Predictions: Bowl Game Predictions Entering Week 10 of the Season

As we head into November, a lot will change with the major six bowl games over the next month.

This is where we get some massive rivalry games and huge conference games with significant implications.

We already saw some teams get upset last week, including Oklahoma and Oregon State, who we had projected to make a New Year's Six Bowl this year.

That won't be the case any longer.

Here are our new predictions entering Week 10 of the college football season.

College Football Bowl Game Prediction

Rose Bowl (CFB Semifinal)

Michigan Wolverines vs. Florida State Seminoles

The Florida State Seminoles took care of business against Wake Forest, earning a 41-16 road win. The Seminoles had previously struggled to defeat Wake Forest consistently. But that win against Wake Forest proved everything we needed to know about Flordia State.

Meanwhile, Michigan's caught up in a cheating scandal. The Wolverines were on a bye week last weekend. This weekend, they'll face Purdue, which shouldn't be a problem. As long as Michigan isn't penalized, Michigan will stay in the CFB Semifinal for another week.

Sugar Bowl (CFB Semifinal)

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

Georgia dominated Florida, while Ohio State took care of business against Wisconsin on the road.

Neither team looks as good as they looked last year. But with an undefeated record, both teams are still in the top four.

Georgia has a tough matchup against Missouri. However, the Bulldogs will be home, which should help them escape. Meanwhile, Ohio State will visit a bowl-eligible Rutgers squad. This won't be an easy game for Ohio State either, but like Georgia, the Buckeyes are expected to win that game, too.

Cotton Bowl

Washington Huskies vs. Texas Longhorns

After Oklahoma's loss to the Kansas Jayhawks, the Texas Longhorns have now gained momentum. Despite losing to Oklahoma earlier in the year, Texas now has the higher probability of winning the Big 12.

But with that loss to Oklahoma, the Longhorns would likely still struggle to earn a College Football Playoff bid. Still, with a win against Alabama earlier this season, the Longhorns have a better chance than Alabama. And we know that Ohio State or Michigan will lose later in the season.

On the other hand, Washington is still undefeated. However, the team hasn't looked excellent over the last two weeks. They've escaped against bad Pac-12 teams. The schedule is only going to get harder from here. But for now, Washington is slated to play in the Cotton Bowl. If they win out, the Huskies will likely be in the College Football Playoff.

Peach Bowl

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Oregon Ducks

The Peach Bowl hasn't changed.

Alabama had a bye week but will face LSU at home this weekend. That game has enormous implications for the SEC West. Currently, Alabama is the favorite to win that game.

On the other hand, Oregon has California this weekend on the road. After earning a substantial dominating win over Utah, beating California should be no problem for the Ducks.

Orange Bowl

Louisville Cardinals vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

The Orange Bowl will eventually change to Ohio State or Michigan when all is said and done. But for now, Penn State is slotted into the Orange Bowl as the one Big Ten team, not in the College Football Playoff. The offense has struggled a lot recently, but the Nittany Lions still found a way against Indiana last weekend.

Meanwhile, Louisville looks like the second-best ACC team behind Florida State. After a convincing win over Duke, the Cardinals are rolling and would play in the Orange Bowl if the season ended today.

Fiesta Bowl

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Ole Miss Rebels

Although the Oklahoma Sooners aren't the top Big 12 team anymore. They still have one loss and deserve respect for their win over Texas earlier this season.

Oklahoma is still deserving of playing in a New Year's Six Bowl right now.

On the other hand, Ole Miss also has just one loss on the year. That loss came against Alabama. They'll have a tough home matchup against Texas A&M this week. But they're expected to win that game, just like Oklahoma is expected to defeat Oklahoma State.

This would be a fun offensive matchup.
