Cleveland Browns Super Bowl Odds: +3000 (Bet $100 to win $3000)
Surprisingly, The odds did not change for the Browns to win the Super Bowl. They are still just given a 3.23% chance of a Super Bowl win. The roster is still a strong one but the odds of being a Super Bowl team after losing your starter for a significant period of time is a tough ask.
Cleveland Browns AFC Championship Odds: +2000 (Bet $100 to win $2000)
Here is where we finally begin to see some movement. The odds are going from an implied chance of 5.88% to a 4.76% chance. The path to the playoffs in the AFC is hard enough, more on that in a moment, but asking to get there with Jacoby Brissett starting 11 games is a very, very tall task.
Cleveland Browns AFC North Odds: +380 (Bet $100 to win $380)
The Browns are given a 20.83% chance of winning the AFC North. I was surprised we didn't see more movement considering who else is in the division. Both Baltimore and Cincinnati are projected to be excellent this year and the Steelers haven't had a losing record since 2003. Even if Deshaun Watson comes back and balls out like he did when he was in Houston, the chances the Browns are still in the hunt for the division feels very slim.
Cleveland Browns O/U: 8.5
Cleveland's win total dropped from 9.5 to 8.5 after the Deshaun Watson news. The oddsmakers are anticipating the Browns to be one win worse with five more games missing Deshaun Watson. Here's a look at the schedule before Watson is slated to return:
- Week 1: @ Carolina Panthers
- Week 2: vs New York Jets
- Week 3: vs Pittsburgh Steelers
- Week 4: @ Atlanta Falcons
- Week 5: vs Los Angeles Chargers
