NFL Fantasy Start Em, Sit Em: 20 Players to Start or Sit in Week 3
NFL Fantasy Start Em, Sit Em: 20 Players to Start or Sit in Week 3
There are still many unknowns in fantasy football. Some players saw a lot more action in Week 1, while others saw more action in Week 2.
As fantasy football owners, we want consistency on our way to victory.
Here's a list of players you should start and sit for Week 3 of the NFL season.

Quarterbacks To Play in Week 3
1. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (CLICK HERE to Get $200 if Tua Scores a TD in Week 3)
2. Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Just hear me out! I don't think Tua Tagovailoa is the next greatest quarterback in fantasy football. However, he's coming off a six-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens that led to a win. He found Jaylin Waddle and Tyreek Hill for four touchdowns and completed 36 of 50 passes in the win.
He's now facing a Buffalo Bills team that has been elite on the defensive end. But he shined in the second half, in a comeback win. Why can't he do that against the Bills in Week 3? He'll earn some passing touchdowns in garbage time, and while the Dolphins might not win, he will have confidence coming into this game.
Quarterbacks To Sit in Week 3
1. Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos
2. Carson Wentz, Washington Commanders
3. Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts
Wilson hasn't thrown 40 or more passing attempts in his first two weeks under center. Last week, he completed just 14 passes in total. I'm not bothering will Wilson this week against the 49ers.
Meanwhile, Carson Wentz has looked sensational in his first two weeks of the NFL season. But I'm not ready to buy it. He's taking on an Eagles team that played well against the Vikings.
Last week, Matt Ryan couldn't help the Colts score any points against the Jaguars. Sit him.
Running Backs To Play in Week 3
6. Antonio Gibson, Washington Commanders (CLICK HERE to Get $200 if Gibson Rushes for 1+ Yards)
7. James Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars
8. Kareem Hunt, Cleveland Browns
Antonio Gibson rushed 14 times but only had 28 yards rushing last week. He still added a touchdown and is a significant threat in the passing game. Against the Eagles, Washington will need Gibson to perform.
James Robinson is the clear running back in Jacksonville. He had 23 carries for 64 yards and earned another touchdown in Week 2. Against the Chargers, rushing the football will be a bit harder, but as long as Robinson has the volume, he's a play.
Running Backs To Sit in Week 3
9. Rashaad Penny, Seattle Seahawks
10. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
Kamara is still dealing with an injury to his ribs. He didn't play in Week 2, and I'd have to imagine he'll be limited if he plays in Week 3. Stay far away from Kamara in Week 2. And don't go picking up Taysom Hill instead of Ingram for your fantasy team. It's either Ingram or a different running back if you're looking to replace Kamara in Week 3.
Wide Receivers To Play in Week 3
11. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
12. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
I love these two rookie wideouts. The Falcons have consistently got the ball to Drake London, and now Garrett Wilson is starting to see some love from the Jets.
Does anyone remember when Mike White dominated the Bengals' defense last year? Why can't that happen this year with Flacco under center? I'll take some chances with Wilson this week. Why not?
Wide Receivers To Sit in Week 3
13. Allen Robinson, Los Angeles Rams
14. Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders
15. Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears
Darnell Mooney has been a nightmare for fantasy owners this season. He's got two games under his belt with just two catches for four yards. Give me a break with this guy.
He was top 10 in targets last season, and now he's not seeing any. Don't play Mooney in any lineups right now. He's been a disaster.
Tight Ends To Play in Week 3
16. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
17. Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals
Kyle Pitts hasn't produced much during the season's first two weeks. But the fans have acknowledged that they want Pitts involved more. The fans will get what they wish this week against the Seahawks. Pitts is a huge target and player that the Falcons need to utilize to win games. They'll figure that out this week.
Tight Ends To Sit in Week 3
18. Albert Okwuegbunam, Denver Broncos
19. Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
20. Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
Albert Okwuegbunam and Cole Kmet didn't earn a catch last week. They're not a significant portion of their offenses through two weeks. Meanwhile, Hill wasn't a substantial factor for the Saints last week, even with Alvin Kamara on the sideline.
I'd stay away from all three of these tight ends heading into Week 3.
