Fantasy Football Buy Low, Sell High: 12 Trade Candidates Ahead of Week 5

We're five weeks into the year. Don't panic just yet.

However, some trends are starting to become a reality in the NFL. We've also seen multiple season-ending injuries to begin the year, which have hurt some fantasy teams.

If you're reading this article, you're looking at potentially making moves for your Week 5 slate in the NFL.

Here's a list of players you can buy low or sell high ahead of Week 5 in the NFL.

Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 5

Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Chase has 25 receptions in four games but has averaged just 11.7 yards per catch to go along with two touchdowns.

He will get the same reps as Tee Higgins this year, but that won't hurt his value. Multiple receivers eat on every team.

If you can buy low on Chase because an owner thinks Chase is a number two wide out of the Bengals, it's time to add him to your team.

Corey Davis, WR, New York Jets

Davis already leads the Jets with 26 receptions on the season. Last week, Zach Wilson returned under center, and Davis saw seven targets and a touchdown against Pittsburgh.

Wilson will be more comfortable with Davis in the next couple of weeks. There's a familiarity there. The Jets aren't going to be a top-tier offense every week, but 24 points against a solid Pittsburgh defense is worthy.

Go grab Corey Davis for a flex option if you can.

If you plan on buying into the Davis hype this week, use the FanDuel promo code and be guaranteed a $125 return, even if your wager loses.

Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Cook was given 22 touches for 86 yards against the Saints last week. But Alexander Mattison got the red zone touchdown over Cook.

If that sent Cook owners into a frenzy, go sneak in and trade for Cook. He had an 85% opportunity share and is still an RB1. The touchdowns will come. The Vikings' offense is way too for Cook not to have more opportunities at earning touchdowns.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

Josh Jacobs has looked extremely good to start the season for the Raiders. He rushed 28 times for 144 yards and caught five balls for six targets.

The Raiders don't always commit to the run, and the offensive line hasn't looked impressive run-blocking. But if you think those two areas can improve, Jacobs is a must-buy right now.

Right now at BetMGM, you can turn $10 into $200 by betting on Josh Jacobs' Week 5 player props. Don't just buy low in fantasy football, buy low at the sportsbook with this amazing offer!

Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 5

Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

If you didn't listen to me last week and kept Austin Ekeler, you had a big, big day. But I spoke about his inconsistencies game-by-game.

He scored three touchdowns but still only had 13 carries for 60 yards against one of the worst defenses in the league last week.

Sell Ekeler after his three-touchdown performance.

Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Harris was an incredible pass catcher last season for the Steelers. He hasn't been getting targets, and he's not breaking out for significant gains rushing the football.

Harris has plenty of potentials, so if you'd like to hold onto him, you can still probably get good production in the second half of the season. But the second half of the season might be a little too late for some of you.

Rashaad Penny, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Rashaad Penny dominated Detroit's defense last week. Every team has. He went off for Seattle, but with Ken Walker waiting for his opportunity, now is the perfect time to sell Penny. He's coming off the best game he'll have this season.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Clyde Edwards-Helaire has more fantasy points than Jonathan Taylor right now. I don't think that's going to last.

Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon are still involved in this offense. McKinnon is getting more action than Clyde this season.

Don't fall for the hype and sell him while he's hot.
