Derrick Henry Next Team Odds: Henry Given 33.3% Chance to Land with Bills as Next Team

The Tennessee Titans are sitting in last place in a weak AFC South, and are looking to avoid their third straight loss. They are coming off of a bye following a trip to London, and their front office has wasted no time in unloading talent in the trade market.

On Monday, the Titans traded All-Pro safety Kevin Byard to the Eagles in exchange for another safety and future draft picks. While it could be a one-off, it could also be the start of a fire sale that sees them dump their few star talents like Derrick Henry or DeAndre Hopkins.

If Henry were to be moved before next week's trade deadline, where would he end up? Luckily for bettors, there are odds on just about everything. The latest betting odds have Henry favored to be moved to the Buffalo Bills, closely followed by the Kansas City Chiefs.

There are plenty of teams that could use the services of the 29-year-old workhorse back. Henry is coming off of a 1,500 yard season where he toted the rock almost 350 times, something almost unheard of in today's pass-focused game.

The Buffalo Bills currently hold +200 odds to land Henry, if he were to be moved from the Titans. The Chiefs follow that up with a roughly 25% chance in the same scenario, and are tailed closely by the Dolphins and Cowboys.

Some of these teams have faced injuries in recent games, and others have lacked production at the running back position. Either way, beefing up their rushing attack with a six-foot-three, 250-pound bell cow would certainly benefit any of these teams as they look to make a push to the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs and Bills both sit in the middle of the pack in terms of team rushing, earning about 110 yards per game on the ground. But they both use a committee backfield, and lack superstar production when needed in clutch spots. Henry could become a difference maker for either as they attempt deep playoff runs.

The former Alabama star is coming off of a 97-yard performance in the London game, just weeks after rumbling for 122 yards against the Bengals. He is just now heating up after an uncharacteristically slow start, and teams have taken notice to his availability in the market.

The Titans will take on the Atlanta Falcons at home on Sunday, where they will be slight underdogs. Tennessee is listed with +2.5 odds early in the week, despite hosting the game and taking on an Atlanta team with a weak offense.

Oddsmakers are aware of the turmoil in Tennessee, and getting saddled as a home dog does not inspire confidence for the team going forward. If the Titans lose, it could very well be the final game for Henry and other stars as they look to potentially continue unloading their talent for draft capital.

Keep an eye on any pending deals over the next week, as that final game comes two days before the October 31 trade deadline. Could Henry be done in Tennessee after eight years? The odds seem to give it a solid chance.
