Where can I bet on Gatorade Color Prop Bets?

The Gatorade bath can be bet on at most major sportsbooks, including DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM. However, it is very state dependent if this prop is allowed. It is currently confirmed as being offered in Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Wyoming, and Ontario.

What Color was the Gatorade in Super Bowl 2023?

The Gatorade color in last year's Super Bowl was purple. Purple hit at shocking longshot odds of +1000, the least expected outcome. It was the first time purple Gatorade had been used since 2012, when the Giants upset the Patriots in Super Bowl 46.

What is the Super Bowl Gatorade bath?

A yearly tradition, the Super Bowl Gatorade bath is a tradition that has permeated across sports. It first began in 1984, when New York Giants players dumped the Gatorade cooler on head coach Bill Parcells after a big win. They later won the Super Bowl in 1987, and dumped the cooler on him for all of national television to see.

Betting on the color of the Gatorade bath gained popularity in the 1990's, and has become a major part of the growing Super Bowl prop list ever year. Bettors will try to figure out the color up until kickoff, one even messaged every Chiefs player on Instagram to ask them their favorite flavor. Here are some recent results to explore and try to predict what color the teams will turn to for Super Bowl LVIII.

Super Bowl Bath Color Odds Pick

Red may have never been used in the Super Bowl bath up until this point, but now is as good of a time as ever to get started. The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are both rocking their red colors, and have been here before. It originally opened at +500 odds, and has suspiciously fallen to sit in the middle of the pack at +350.

There are a lot of factors that go into this, including team colors, historical performance, and perhaps most importantly, the flavor that the players like to drink. The Chiefs used orange when they beat the 49ers in 2020, but used purple last year after defeating the Eagles, so they aren't necessarily tied to a color. The Niners haven't won since 1995, and they used clear gatorade in that win, but it is unlikely to be a repeat event this time around.
