The start of the 2025-26 English Premier League season is less than three weeks away, and there a few strong contenders at the top of the table. It's no surprise to see Liverpool leading the way, but can Mo Salah and co. hold off challenges from Arsenal and Man City this year? England's Premier League is set to kick off its upcoming 2025-26 season on August 16th and 17th. It concludes on Sunday, May 24th after 380 matches have been played.
Oddsmakers are valuing Liverpool as the favorite in Premier League Winner futures betting market. The Reds won the 2024-25 Premier League title thanks to F Mohamed Salah's league-leading 29 goals and 18 assists. They dethroned Manchester City, earning the organization its second EPL title under first year manager Arne Slot.
Other betting favorites inside of +1000 include Arsenal (+225), Man City (+300) and Chelsea at +900. The Blues just pulled off a big upset against Paris Saint-Germain to win the FIFA Club World Cup Final in a dominant 3-0 effort on July 13th.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Man City, who both finished inside the Premier League's top three last season, are favored ahead of Chelsea. Sunderland, Leeds, Burnley and Wolverhampton are collectively the biggest longshots at +100000 (1000-1) odds.

Alongside Salah's incredibly productive season for Liverpool, Luis Díaz and Cody Gakpo also recorded double-digit goals for the Reds. They claimed the 2024-25 EPL title with four games left on their schedule.
All three of these players will return to defend their title this upcoming season, including goalkeeper Alisson Becker. His stonewall defense in between the posts eased pressure on Liverpool's offense, which still led the league in total goals scored (86), while sporting a +45 goal differential.
Liverpool has won two Premier League titles since 2020. Manchester City won it all in four consecutive seasons from 2021 through 2024. The Reds have plenty of talent to go back-to-back in 2026, which is why they are the current favorites at +190 odds.

Arsenal made a big run in the FIFA Club World Cup this summer but fell short of contending for the title. The Gunners logged a 20-14-4 record in the Premier League in 2025, racking up 74 total points to finish runner-up in the final standings.
There's a ton of depth on this roster. Five different players scored at least six goals, led by Kai Havertz with nine of them. Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard combined for 18 total assists.
Arsenal closed their schedule out with a 2-1-1 record in 2025 against Premier League opponents. Their defense was the best unit on the pitch, holding teams to a league-best 34 total goals, which is why The Gunners logged a +35 goal differential.
+225 feels a bit short for Arsenal in 2026. Especially with a powerhouse like Manchester City available at +300 odds.

Super star F Erling Haaland logged 22 goals and 25 total points for Manchester City in 2025. The Sky Blues finally lost the Premier League last season after winning four consecutive titles.
Phil Foden and Omar Marmoush each recorded seven goals, while Savinho and Kevin De Bruyne combined for 15 assists. Among the top three teams in the 2024-25 Premier League table, Man City suffered nine total losses, five more than Liverpool and Arsenal.
Their 72 goals was second in the Premier League behind Liverpool. Defensively, the Sky Blues are weaker, surrendering 44 goals, more than any other club that finished in the top four.

Chelsea is an intriguing team to back in the English Premier League Winner futures market at this +900 price. They have a lot of confidence following their upset over PSG in the FIFA Club World Cup Final, shutting down the UEFA Champions League winners 3-0.
In 2025, The Pensioners finished fourth in the Premier League with 69 total points and a +21 goal differential. Chelsea was led by 23-year-old English midfielder, Cole Palmer, who tallied 15 goals and eight assists, leading the club in both metrics.
Chelsea's biggest issue last season was their offense. Other than Nicolas Jackson, who notched 10 goals, no one else registered more than seven of them on the roster. They'll need to dig deeper to have a shot at winning the 2026 Premier League title.
Defense was a positive for the Blues. They finished 2025 with 43 goals allowed, third-fewest behind Liverpool and Arsenal.
Chelsea hasn't won a Premier League title since 2017. If the offense can make some improvements, +900 odds becomes a big-time value.
