Taylor Swift sent the sports world and the pop world into a crossover frenzy last week when she was the mystery guest on Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast. The singer covered a wide range of topics and rumors while on the massively-viewed episode, with the main announcement covering her new album.
But fans believe they have uncovered a few easter eggs in the appearance, one theory stipulating that she will star in the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show at Levi's Stadium this February. Nothing has been formally announced by Swift or the league
Last year, Kendrick Lamar was revealed as the headliner in September, and his celebrity guests were not announced until late January. Will we see a similar timeline with Swift potentially revealing her performance closer to the album release date of October 3, 2025? Let's take a look at the latest Super Bowl Halftime Show odds from Kalshi, and see how likely it is for Taylor Swift to star in Santa Clara this season.

Latest Super Bowl Halftime Show Odds From Kalshi
Taylor Swift - 57% Chance
Taylor Swift has flown up on the odds board for this Super Bowl halftime market on Kalshi in the last week. It was all Jay-Z and Metallica before her appearance on the podcast, and now fans think she was dropping hints by mentioning things like Sourdough (the 49ers mascot, the number 47 (her 47th stop on the last tour was at Levi's Stadium), and 60% (the number of this year's Super Bowl). The Swifties dive deep into these mentions, with Taylor dropping hints like this across her career for the rabid fanbase.
Thus, many are convinced she will decide to play the Super Bowl halftime show this year, especially as her involvement with the NFL has increased massively from the Travis Kelce relationship. Kalshi traders piggybacked on this info, soaring the halftime show stock to over 65% at one point last week. It has now settled around 57%, but until some sort of denial or news about another performer taking over is leaked, Swift should dominate this market for the time being.

Metallica - 15% Chance
Metallica may have formed in LA back in 1981, but they have spent most of their career based out of San Francisco. With the big game coming to town, the legendary rock band has spoken up about playing the halftime show. There have been some rumored discussions with the league, but nothing firm or official at this time. The band has 11 studio albums, releasing one as recent as 2023. The members are in their early 60's, and still have enough juice in the tank to draw a crowd, though obviously not in their prime anymore. They could be a good option if the NFL wants to go with a rock band over a solo act like Swift and others.
Jay-Z - 12% Chance
Jay-Z is still being considered here with a 12% chance, or about +725 sportsbook odds, but has crashed down from being the previous leader. For most of July, he was up at a 35% chance, and no other competitors really came into the fold until August. Metallica grabbed some market share at first, and then T-Swift took over last week as we mentioned above.
The rapper has 13 studio albums, and has achieved massive fame in the U.S. His wife, Beyonce, was part of two Super Bowl halftime shows already, running her own in 2013 and taking part in the Coldplay show of 2016. Jay-Z also had the opportunity himself in 2020, but turned it down because he didn't want the league dictating who he could have on as a guest star.
However, this probably wouldn't be the best time for Jay-Z to do it, given he was tied up in some misconduct allegations late last year. It came attached to the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial, and though the allegations were later dropped, the public sentiment and his close friendship with the jailed rapper is not at an all-time high right now.
Post Malone - 12% Chance
Post Malone would be one of the younger candidates being considered, and we find him here in the mix at a 12% chance. He's only 30 years old, and would cater towards a younger crowd with his music. The singer has been wildly popular over the last decade, and is currently on tour with Jelly Roll through September 2025. It would give him a chance to have a nice break after wrapping that up, but still recent enough that it will resonate with current pop culture if the league wants to tap into the younger base.
