2024 Trump VP Odds: Kristi Noem Still The Favorite To Become Trump's Vice President
The odds are moving in Donald Trump's favor to win the 2024 Presidential Election.
As Trump inches closer to being elected for his second term, the suspense is kicking in on who will be his Vice President.
The South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem, has led the group of potential running mates. However, a new candidate has emerged over the last week or so.
That's Senator Tim Scott, who is on Trump's shortlist, including Scott, Noem, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, and Elise Stefanik.
Check out the Donald Trump VP Odds below.
Donald Trump VP Odds
RUNNING MATE | ODDS | IMPLIED PROBABILITY |
---|---|---|
Kristi Noem | 450 | 18.18% |
Vivek Ramaswamy | 760 | 11.63% |
Tim Scott | 800 | 11.11% |
Elise Stefanik | 840 | 10.64% |
Ben Carson | 1400 | 6.69% |
Kristi Noem Odds (+450)
The South Dakota governor is still the odds-on favorite to become Donald Trump's Vice President.
Noem met Trump at his Mar-A-Lago home earlier this week, which is why many have speculated that she'll be Trump's running mate if he wins the Presidential Election.
Noem has known Trump for many years, as they've worked in Congress together. She's confident that she'll fit well with Trump.
Vivek Ramaswamy Odds (+760)
In a new straw poll released, Vivek Ramaswamy tied Kristi Noem as the former President Donald Trump's vice presidential pick at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Ramaswamy tied Noem with 15% of the votes in that poll.
He's clearly just as well-liked as Noem by the Republican party. Therefore, Trump would have no issue making him the vice president if elected.
Tim Scott Odds (+800)
Before the Iowa Caucus, Tim Scott wasn't even thought to be vice president by oddsmakers. But a little over a month later, Scott is now third on the odds board.
Trump stated that Scott is a respected guy and added that Scott was the greatest surrogate he's ever seen.
He also talked highly of Scott's family, specifically his mother, and believes Scott is a high-quality man.
All of these compliments came after Scott was one of the biggest supporters since ending his presidential campaign. These compliments have people wondering if he'll make the move to give Scott the VP title.
