5 Minute Read2025 Men's Wimbledon Odds Update: Carlos Alcaraz Edges Jannik Sinner as Favorite Ahead of Wimbledon Semifinals
We're down to the final four players ahead of Friday's 2025 Men's Wimbledon Semifinals matchplay, with Carlos Alcaraz seeking his third straight win on the grass courts. The 22-year-old phenom is currently the betting favorite to win and is likely destined for another rematch against Jannik Sinner in the Championship on Sunday, July 13th.
Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz are the other two who have qualified for Friday's Semifinals at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in London. Oddsmakers have Fritz valued as a massive underdog to win the tournament at +2000 odds, drawing a Semifinals match against Alcaraz.
Djokovic is much shorter at +470 odds ahead of his Semifinals tilt against Sinner. It's likely due to the Serbian veteran seeking his eighth career win at Wimbledon, while Sinner's also dealing with an elbow injury he played through during his Quarterfinals victory over No. 10 Ben Shelton on Wednesday.

2025 Men's Wimbledon Outright Winner Odds
Carlos Alcaraz (-125) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Seeking a third straight Wimbledon Championship under his belt, Carlos Alcaraz has oddsmakers backing him as a heavy betting favorite at -125 odds. The Spaniard has won six consecutive sets entering his Semifinals match against No. 5 Taylor Fritz, playing with plenty of confidence, energy and athleticism.
Alcaraz won a whopping 89 percent of 1st serve points in his Quarterfinals sweep against the UK's Cameron Norrie, while holding him to 0-5 on break points won. He also recorded 13 aces, 71 percent of net points won and had a 20 percent edge (46%) in receiving points won.
There's no reason to doubt Alcaraz on the grass. He's red-hot and still riding momentum from his historic comeback against Jannik Sinner during the French Open Final at Roland-Garros last month.
Jannik Sinner (+225) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The elbow injury that led many to back Ben Shelton as an underdog in the Quarterfinals looked like a non-factor during the match. The 23-year-old Italian swept Shelton in three sets, completing the match in only two hours and 19 minutes.
Sinner only recorded seven aces, compared to Shelton's 14. Yet, Sinner's dominance on 1st serve points won (9% higher), net points won (11% higher) and receiving points won (17% higher) were the reason for his victory.
He'll face Djokovic in Friday's Semifinals match, which won't be an easy task. We last saw these two face off in the French Open Semifinals, with Sinner managing a 3-0 sweep. This surface plays into Djokovic's strengths though, while Sinner could be caught looking ahead to a rematch against Alcaraz.
Sinner avoided elimination in the 4th Round against Grigor Dimitrov, who suffered a torn pectoral injury, forcing him to retire with a 2-0 lead in sets. The Italian star took advantage of his good fortune and kept Shelton in check, as he now attempts to earn his first Wimbledon Championship.
Novak Djokovic (+470) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Oddsmakers are giving Novak Djokovic a realistic chance to grab his eighth Wimbledon title with odds as short as +470 leading into Friday's Semifinal match against Sinner. The 38-year-old Serbian has lost the first set in three straight matches, before bouncing back to win all of them 3-1.
During Wednesday's Quarterfinals match against No. 22 Flavio Cobolli, Djokovic held at least a 10 percent edge in 2nd serve points won, net points won and receiving points won. He committed only 22 unforced errors, compared to 44 by Cobolli, playing a relatively clean match.
Playing for nearly an hour longer than Sinner, who is 15 years younger, Djokovic could be at a rest disadvantage. However, he will still want to avenge his sweep in Paris against the Italian. He's going to be playing comfortably on his favorite surface, grass, while also being potentially healthier in comparison to his younger opponent.
Taylor Fritz (+2000) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
At 20-1, Taylor Fritz's journey as the No. 5 seed in this tournament is expected to come to an end against Carlos Alcaraz in Friday's Semifinals match. The 27-year-old American hasn't swept a single opponent, excluding a retirement from Aussie, Jordan Thompson, early in the second set in the 3rd Round due to injury.
Fritz just beat No. 17 Karen Khachanov 3-1 in the Quarterfinals, winning his first two sets and dropping the third set, before ending it in the fourth set with a narrow 7-6 victory. He spent five percent more time attacking than Khachanov, while getting his 1st serve into play at 64 percent compared to 55 percent.
Fritz needs to be better at winning net points and break points if he wants to spoil Alcaraz's quest for a three-peat. He did log 16 aces in the Quarterfinals, leaning on his first serve accuracy.
If Fritz can counter Alcaraz and perform well with receiving points won, just like he did against Khachanov, he will improve his chances of advancing to the 2025 Wimbledon Men's Singles Championship on Sunday.
