Although the Baltimore Orioles are down 2-0 to the Texas Rangers in the ALDS, they aren’t dead yet. Baltimore showed heart in game two, scoring eight runs. I have a feeling the O’s offense will be productive once again on the road tonight in a must-win spot. Unfortunately, they won’t be the only offense lighting up the scoreboard…

Baltimore Orioles vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
The Rangers entered the postseason as the hottest team in baseball. There were many doubts about this team only a few months ago, but their lineup is finally dialed-in from top to bottom. It’s going to take a lot to slow down this star-studded lineup right now, and unfortunately for the O’s, it’s probably not going to be Dean Kremer.
The Orioles’ game three starter ended the regular season on a hot streak, allowing one run or less in five of his last seven starts. That doesn’t mean he’s going to be successful tonight against the hottest lineup in baseball.
Dean Kremer’s pitching-outs prop is set at o/u 10.5 outs recorded. Oddsmakers are telling us that it’s highly unlikely that Kremer will be on the mound for the majority of this game. As soon as Kremer gets in any sort of trouble (and remember, oddsmakers are “tipping their hand” with that 10.5 PO prop), he will be pulled from this game. Facing a lineup with Corey Seager and Marcus Semien at the top of the order is a tough way to open up your first postseason start…
Luckily for the O’s, Texas won’t be the only offense scoring tonight. I’m willing to bet Baltimore carries their momentum at the dish from game two into tonight. They no longer have the added pressure of playing in front of their home crowd and a fanbase that needs to see postseason success like they need air. The Orioles are now down 0-2, all that extra pressure and all those lofty expections have now simmered. The pressure is now on the Rangers, an organization that has yet to win a World Series.
Nathan Eovaldi has been sharp this season, but he’s looked hittable over the past month or so. This O’s lineup has seen him a decent amount, and although they haven’t had much success (besides Austin Hays and Ryan Mountcastle), Eovaldi’s stuff hasn’t looked as great since the start of September. Expect Baltimore to score early and often against Eovaldi and this underwhelming Rangers bullpen. Both offenses will shine much like game two in this must-watch ALDS matchup tonight.
