Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
Atlanta was able to even the series at one a piece at Truist Park in Game 2 before heading to the City of Brotherly Love where home field advantage is very real. Philly absolutely thrashed Atlanta on Wednesday by a final score of 10-2 and now they have a chance to go for the head of the snake here and finish the series tonight.
This Braves team is going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at the Phillies tonight to try to force game five. The 100+ win juggernauts have the craziest lineup on paper I have seen in a long time with four (and I may be mistaken, that number may be five) hitters with 30+ home runs this season and overall a lineup that just mashes. Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler have been excellent keeping those bats at bay thus far but that offense is always capable of damage.
Good for us, the Phillies offense is without question more dangerous right now. They were electric to end the season and the bats have been red hot all post season. They face Braves ace Spencer Strider tonight who has thrown the ball very well against Philly, exceptionally well actually. With that said, I trust Philly at home and Ranger Suarez can hold his own. On 107 at bats he has held them to a .224/.308/.384 slash line. I am taking the home team in front of that crowd all day.
