Jose Berrios is off to one of the best starts to a season in his long career. He currently owns a 1.23 ERA, the best in Major League Baseball. After giving up two runs and three walks in five innings against this same Royals team last week, he gets a chance at revenge on his home mound. I like his chances to bounce back with a great start in Toronto.
The Blue Jays crush left-handed pitching. I’m surprised they didn’t find much success against Ragans the first time they faced him. After seeing him last week, the Blue Jays should be primed and ready to hit him up at home tonight. Fade the Royals and back Toronto in the second matchup between these two solid starters. I’ll take my chances with Berrios at home.
