We took a couple days off to focus on puck over the weekend with the first round matchups coming to a close, but I am ready to keep our momentum going here at the start of the MLB season. Tonight, we head to the west coast as the Philadelphia Phillies (19-11) look to rebound in game two against the Los Angeles Angels (11-18) at Angel Stadium in this showdown in Anaheim.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Angels Prediction
I really like this bounce back spot for the Phillies. After blowing a pretty commanding lead yesterday in the final third of the ball game, they get a really strong pitching mismatch here tonight. Spencer Turnball has the ball for the Phillies and he is off to a terrific start this season at 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA with only five runs allowed on the season. On the flip side, Tyler Anderson may be off to a decent year at 2-3 with a 1.78 ERA, but he has historically had a lot of trouble against this Phillies lineup. On 72 at bats, they have 27 hits against him, slashing a stellar .375/.425/.804 with an OPS of 1.229.
The Phillies have scored 32 runs in their last five games, and only dropped last night's game by one. Los Angeles snapped a four-game win streak for a hot Phillies team, look for them to bounce back tonight against the not so potent Angels.
