If the Giants ace was going to shove tonight, don’t you think he would be a heavier favorite against Cooper Criswell? The Giants are only laying (-130) on the moneyline against a converted reliever who might only throw a couple innings tonight depending on the results. That is some serious respect on Criswell setting the Red Sox at (+110) on the moneyline…
The Red Sox bats are finally starting to get hot again. This team is very streaky, but when they are on they can put up a big number on the scoreboard like they’ve done in their last two games. With Logan Webb struggling at times on the road this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if this potent Red Sox lineup does some damage against the Giants ace.
Cooper Criswell has honestly pitched great for the Red Sox in his three “starts” this season. He has only pitched five or more innings in one of those starts, but the 27 year old has shown good stuff on the mound in 2024. Don’t be surprised if he silences the Giants bats who have struggled against right-handers at times this season.
