Although Luis Gil has walked 17.6% of batters, he's also struck out 32.4%.
Meanwhile, he'll take on a projected Orioles lineup that has struck out 23% of the time against righties. The Orioles ultimately have five batters who have struck out at least 22.8% of the time and seven batters who have struck out at least 20.5% of the time against righties since last year.
Gil has pitched well outside of his control issues. But how much worse can his control issues get? He's already walked 17.6% of batters and is facing an Orioles lineup that has walked just 7.6% of the time against righties since last year.
This looks to be a solid spot for Gil tonight. Let's ride the Over.

We don't have a large sample size for Roddery Munoz of the Miami Marlins. However, Munoz has struck out 38.9% of his first 18 batters, and he's had success against both righties and lefties to begin the year.
He's in line to face a Rockies lineup that has struck out 26.2% of the time against righties since last season. Only Charlie Blackmon has limited strikeouts against righties since the previous year.
The rest of the lineup has struck out at least 23.7% of the time against righties.
This could be a fun breakout game from Munoz. If he can finish five innings, five strikeouts seem like a piece of cake against the Rockies' lineup.

The Nationals will run it back with Trevor Williams tonight. He'll face the Texas Rangers, who rarely strike out against righties.
The Texas projected lineup for Texas has struck out only 20.6% of the time since last season. They also have just two batters striking out more than 22.1% of the time against righties. That's Adolis Garcia and Evan Carter, who happen to be the best power sluggers in the Texas lineup against righties.
Therefore, it's unlikely Williams will strike out a bunch of batters tonight. He'll likely struggle to pitch through this Texas lineup that has hit a .199 ISO and wOBA of .351 against righties since last year.
