A two-day streak of home runs ended yesterday. But we've still nailed a home run in two of our last three articles to begin the week.
Let's go for a third with today's 16-game MLB slate.
May 29 Best MLB Home Run Props
Ian Happ to Hit a Home Run (+520) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The Brewers will send out Bryse Wilson for tonight's showdown against the Cubs. Wilson is a right-handed pitcher who hasn't had his best stuff against lefties this year.
Wilson has allowed a .246 ISO and wOBA of 375 with under 30% of ground balls and nearly 30% of line drives to lefties this season. He's also given up 70.6% of hard contact to lefties while allowing an 11.8% barrel percentage.
Meanwhile, he'll be in line to face Ian Happ, who will bat left-handed against Wilson. Happ, a switch-hitter, has hit a .220 ISO and wOBA of .343 with 55.9% of hard contact and a 17.6% barrel percentage against righties over the last month. Let's take our chances with Happ tonight.
Jose Ramirez to Hit a Home Run (+300) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The Rockies will pitch lefty Ty Blach for tonight's game against the Guardians. Blach has already allowed a .200 ISO and wOBA of .420 to his first 80 righties this season.
Blach will take on Jose Ramirez, who has been on an absolute tear recently. Ramirez, a switch-hitter, will bat from the right side against Blach, a lefty.
Ramirez has hit a .393 ISO and wOBA of .507 with only 12.1% of strikeouts when batting from the right side over the last 30 days.
He's also hit 33.3% of line drives and 66.7% of hard contact. On the other hand, Blach has allowed 31.9% of line drives to righties this season and has allowed 52.2% of hard contact.
In Coors Field, I like Ramirez's chances to go deep again.
Kyle Tucker to Hit a Home Run (+390) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The only batters hotter than Kyle Tucker are probably Aaron Judge and Jose Ramirez.
Over the last 30 days, Kyle Tucker has smashed a .600 ISO and wOBA of .594 against righties. He's kept strikeouts below 17% and has hit 55.8% of fly balls with only 18.6% of ground balls against righties over the last month.
In addition, Tucker has belted 65.1% of hard contact and leads the team with a 25.6% barrel percentage in the last 30 days.
He'll take on George Kirby of the Mariners, who has allowed a .232 ISO and wOBA of .328 to his first 135 lefties. Kirby has been a bit of a disappointment this season, allowing 33.3% of fly balls with only 35.6% of ground balls induced.
I'll ride with Tucker to hit a long ball tonight.
