We've got a much smaller slate on the menu, including four day games and another four night games. Therefore, make sure to get your early bets in as soon as possible. Time is ticking!

May 30 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Jameson Taillon Under 4.5 Ks (+106) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Cubs will send Jameson Taillon to the mound tonight. He's a righty, who has only struck out 15.2% of batters this season. While he's had success against righties, he's also allowed lefties to hit a .208 ISO and wOBA of .366 to begin the year.

Meanwhile, the Brewers will have more lefties than righties in the lineup today. Their projected lineup has struck out only 21.6% of the time over the last 30 days.

Ultimately, there are only three targets in that lineup, including Christian Yelich, Jake Bauers, and Blake Perkins. But those three are all left-handed hitters, who Taillon has drastically struggled with.

Let's back the Under for Taillon in today's early game.

Logan Gilbert Under 5.5 Ks (-128) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Although Logan Gilbert is known for being an ace with lots of strikeout potential, it's not looking promising for him today.

Gilbert should be fine inducing outs. However, those outs likely won't come via strikeout. This season. Gilbert has only struck out 18% of righties. That's not good, knowing the Astros will likely have six righties in their lineup for today's game against Gilbert.

Gilbert has always been worse at adding strikeouts against righties since coming into the league. Meanwhile, the Astros really only have one super high strikeout candidate, which is Jose Abreu. But he also hasn't had a big sample size since returning to the big league club.

I'll take my chances with the Under here.

Nick Pivetta Over 5.5 Ks (-158) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

While Nick Pivetta has given up plenty of extra base hits and a high wOBA to righties this season, he's still managed 27.7% of strikeouts this season.

Pivetta has consistently struck out righty and lefty batters, adding at least 27% of strikeouts to both sides this season.

That said, he'll be in line to face a Tigers lineup that has ht just a .154 ISO and wOBA of .321 over the last 30 days. The only two significant batters are Matt Vierling and Riley Greene, especially with Kerry Carpenter missing some time.

The lineup also has five batters who have struck out more than 22.4% of the time against righties. That's enough targets for Pivetta to add six or more strikeouts tonight.
