Aaron Judge has been playing like he’s out to prove a point against the team that he almost signed with this offseason. He’s dominated the Giants pitchers all series, but tonight’s matchup against Blake Snell isn’t ideal for the right-handed slugger. He’s 1 for 16 with 10 strikeouts against Snell in his career. After looking much better in his last start, I’m confident that Snell can limit Judge’s impact at the plate on Sunday.
Blake Snell has been known to get out to slow starts in his career, especially in recent seasons. Even last year in one of the best seasons of his career he struggled mightily in the first two months. After signing with the Giants extremely late in the offseason, it’s only a matter of time before Snell returns to form. Buy-low on the left-handed veteran on Sunday… I have a feeling he’s going to put up the best outing of his 2024 season against the surging Yankees when the public least expects it.
