This is a sneaky good find. MacKenzie Gore has allowed 5+ hits in eight of 11 games this season. The Mets hit lefties better than righties at a decent.240 clip. In 50 lifetime plate appearances, New York has 15 hits against Gore. A .300 lifetime average with a nice hit rate over 72% for Gore, sign me up.

New York has hit this prop against opposing starting pitching in three straight games. Gore should be extended here as Wsshington has not had a day off since May 23rd. Gore has a worse home ERA and it is still due slight regression.
Five hits is not out of this world, I think we could ding him for exactly five. If this number was 5.5 I wouldn’t have touched either direction but I think we’re getting value here. New York just choked another game away last night so let's hope they take their anger out on the lefty here tonight. Let's roll!
