Unfortunately for the Dodgers, I don’t think they are going to find much success offensively tonight. They will be facing a young flamethrower in Jared Jones tonight who’s struggled in recent games, but it’s only a matter of time before he locks back in. After the worst start of his career against the Tigers last week, I’m fairly confident that he bounces back in a big way against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
The Dodgers strike out a ton, and Jared Jones makes a living off strikeouts. This isn’t an ideal matchup for the Dodgers, but instead of backing the struggling Pirates in this game… I’ve got a better idea. Let’s fade both of these offenses who will be facing elite starting pitching in the first half of this game. I don’t want anything to do with the Pirates bullpen against this potent Dodgers lineup though, so let’s isolate and lock-in the F5 under.
