After a slow start to the season, Ryan Pepiot has shined over the last month or so for the Rays. Even after missing a few starts due to injury, Pepiot hasn’t skipped a beat in his return to the mound. His strikeout numbers have also been up since his return from the IL. I’m willing to bet we see another Pepiot gem against the O’s on Monday when the public least expects it.
If you take a look at Corbin Burnes’ pitching props for Monday night, you’ll notice that oddsmakers aren’t putting much respect on the O’s ace. After winning the first three games of this series, I was surprised to see some of his props set so low for tonight’s final game of the series. If anything, they are putting more respect on Pepiot considering how high some of his props are set at for tonight…
Fading the Orioles hasn’t been profitable for the greater part of the last two seasons.
