MLB Prop Pick Parlay: Can Seth Lugo Step Up Against Yankees on Monday Night?

Going back to yesterdays new format. Let's try to cash again on a double pitcher prop, this time featuring Seth Lugo and Jose Berrios.

I’m going back to yesterday's style of bet because I liked it. Seth Lugo has a tough matchup against the Yankees, but I trust him here. Lugo has hit this prop in 11 of 13 starts and one of the misses was because Bobby Witt recorded an error on what would have been the 18th out. The other loss came in the 6th inning, but he allowed a rally with just one out recorded.

MLB PROP PICKS PREDICTION

Lugo has pitched into the sixth inning of all 13 games this season, and his rate is too impressive to ignore regardless of matchup. Kansas City used seven pitchers yesterday, so I would imagine they want Lugo to eat innings here. In Lugo’s last start, we saw him go exactly six innings despite allowing five earned runs. He has a long leash, and although New York has good career numbers against him, my gut tells me that he brings some nice stuff tonight.

Our juice reducer is Berrios to allow three hits or more. Berrios has allowed this in 20 of his last 21 starts, and gets a Brewers team that has the second-highest batting average against righties this season. I expect this one to hit and leave it up to Lugo at a better price. Let's roll y'all!
