Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Sunday

It's the final Sunday of August. The MLB season is flying by. But they say time flies when you're having fun.

We've had a lot of fun with our strikeout props recently.

Let's keep up last week's momentum with three more strikeout props for today's Sunday slate.

August 25 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Tanner Houck Under 4.5 Ks (-108) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Tanner Houck has only struck out 16.2% of batters over the last month for the Red Sox. That's a major dip from his season's average of 21.2%.

Houck hasn't pitched terribly. He's just added many grounders and hasn't earned many strikeouts.

That said, he's in line to pitch against a red-hot Arizona offense. The Diamondbacks have hit a .276 ISO and wOBA of .418 against righties over the last month. The lineup has also struck out 19.2% of the time against righties.

Ultimately, just two batters in the Arizona lineup have struck out at a higher rate than 21.8% against righties in the last month. With just two actual targets, take the Under for Houck.

Adam Oller Under 3.5 Ks (-122) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Marlins will roll with Adam Oller today. The former Athletics righty has faced 23 batters this season and has piled up just 8.7% of strikeouts.

Oller has also allowed a .353 ISO and wOBA of .404 to those 23 batters and has given up 73.3% of hard contact with only 5.6% of swinging strikes.

He'll face off against a Cubs lineup that has struck out just 16.6% of the time against righties over the last month. Only Michael Busch and Seiya Suzuki have struck out more than 21.9% of the time against righties in the last 30 days.

However, Busch and Suzuki have each hit a high ISO and wOBA against righties over the last 30 days. There's a higher chance they make hard contact than strike out against Oller. Take his Under.

Martin Perez Over 4.5 Ks (+106) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Martin Perez has never been known as a strikeout pitcher. However, the veteran lefty for the Padres has struck out 25.3% of batters over the last 30 days.

The lefty has struck out 33.3% of lefties but has also earned 24.4% of strikeouts against righties. In addition, he's held his last 91 batters to 4.4% of walks and has allowed just a .285 wOBA.

Perez will face a Mets lineup that has struck out 25% of the time against lefties over the last month. Francisco Lindor, Mark Vietnos, J.D. Martinez, Pete Alonso, Starling Marte, and Harrison Bader have all struck out at least 25% of the time against lefties.

Therefore, we'll take advantage of Perez's recent strikeout surge and back his Over 4.5 Ks today.
