MLB Prop Pick Parlay: Can Juan Soto, Marcell Ozuna Shine on Monday Night?
MLB Prop Pick Parlay: Can Juan Soto, Marcell Ozuna Shine on Monday Night?
I have put together a parlay for the 50% boost over on DraftKings for today's MLB slate. Below you will see each of the legs I have added to the parlay with the reasoning as to why I am taking them. Let's cash this parlay!
August 26th MLB Prop Picks
The first leg of the parlay is Marcell Ozuna to record at least one strikeout. Ozuna has now recorded a strikeout in 13 of his last 16 games, going for two or more in three of the last six games. He ranks in the 29th percentile in K-rate and will get a matchup with Twins righty Bailey Ober, who has pitched well at home as of late. Over his last five games at home, he has gone for 9, 7, 4, 8 and 8 strikeouts. I think he will be able to strikeout Ozuna at least once today.
The second leg of the parlay is Oneil Cruz of the Pittsburgh Pirates or Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs to hit a home run. In order for this leg of the parlay to cash, we just need one of these two hitters to go yard. I like them both, so having the option for either one to hit gives me even more confidence. Happ is crushing the ball as of late, with 15 of his last 18 batted balls vs. righties going 90+ MPH exit velocity. He has six homers in the month of August, and will see Mitch Keller who has a high HR rate to lefties on the year. Happ has three career HRs against Mitch Keller as well. Oneil Cruz has been crushing baseballs lately as well. Six of his last eight batted balls have been hit at least 106 MPH exit velocity, which is crazy. He hits well at home and against righties, which is perfect as Taillon will take the mound for the Cubs and he has been giving up a ton of home runs, especially to lefties.
To round out the parlay, I will be adding in Juan Soto to go over 2.5 HRRs. Juan Soto has been on a tear this month, and is hitting .318 vs lefties since August 11th. Mitchell Parker has struggled on the other hand, and is allowed lefties to hit .289 against him on the season. I am expecting five or more plate appearances for Juan Soto today, and when he gets five or more this season, he has cleared this HRRs line in 75% of games. I think he has no problem hitting this line today in a great matchup.
