Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Tuesday

We added three plus-money strikeout props yesterday and still came away with a 2-1 day. Let's drag that momentum into tonight's slate with three more strikeout props for August 27.

August 27 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Aaron Nola Under 5.5 Ks (-134) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Phillies have Aaron Nola scheduled to start tonight. The right-handed veteran has only added 16.2% of strikeouts over the last month.

That's way below his season's average of 22.4%. Ultimately, he's not adding a lot of strikeouts and is getting rocked instead. Nola has allowed a .205 ISO and a wOBA of .402 against his last 130 batters. He's given up brutal stats to both sides of the plate.

Meanwhile, he'll battle an Astros projected lineup that has only struck out 19.8% of the time over the last month. Houston's lineup has just two batters with strikeout rates above 22.2%. In addition, the Astros' lineup has five batters with an above-average ISO and six with a wOBA of at least .360 against righties.

It's about to be another mediocre outing for Nola.

Cooper Criswell Under 3.5 Ks (-166) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Over the last month, Cooper Criswell has only averaged 44 pitches per start. He's also struck out only 10.3% of batters in that time and has allowed a .186 ISO with a wOBA of .390.

The right-hander hasn't even earned more than 5% of swinging strikes in the last month and has allowed nearly 28% of fly balls with about 26% of line drives instead.

The Red Sox righty will face a Toronto projected lineup that has only struck out 18.8% of the time over the last month. Six batters in the lineup have struck out no more than 22.2% of the time against righties. Beyond that, Toronto's projected lineup has hit a .209 ISO and wOBA of .362 against righties in the last 30 days.

Take Criswell to go Under 3.5 Ks.

Miles Mikolas Under 3.5 Ks (-174) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

This line might be a little juiced. But I still see the value here.

Miles Mikolas has struck out just 16.8% of batters over the last month. That's about on par with what he's done this season. After all, Mikolas has struck out just 16.5% of 601 batters this year.

That said, he'll be in line to face a Padres lineup that has struck out just 16.9% of the time over the last month. This projected lineup has two batters with a strikeout rate higher than 18.3%.

Additionally, the Padres have eight batters hitting a wOBA of at least .312 against righties. San Diego will be aggressive and get on base a lot against Mikolas. Take his Under to close out the night.
