MLB Prop Cheat Sheet: Tuesday, May 27th

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to Hit a Home Run (+600) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The first player I’m looking to target on Dinger Tuesday is Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Vlad has had tons of success in this matchup in years past, hitting 8 for his last 12 against Nathan Eovaldi with two doubles and a home run, and he hits his pitch mix very well.

Guerrero Jr. has played well in Texas, with four homers in his last eight games played there. He's also been crushing the ball as of late, with six of his last eight batted balls hit 96+ MPH. Eovaldi has been about average in allowing barrels, but you can get Vlad around +500-600 range, which is just absurd. I love his value tonight, and think he’s got a great shot to go yard.

Juan Soto to Hit a Home Run (+600) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The next player I’m looking to target for a home run today is New York Mets star Juan Soto. He gets a great matchup with White Sox starter Jonathan Cannon, who has allowed a 1.41 HR per 9 innings ratio to lefties. Soto has great numbers vs. the pitch mix he will see as Cannon throws primarily cutters, changeups, and 4-seam fastballs to lefties. Here’s Soto’s numbers vs. these pitches in 2025 (vs. righties):

  • vs. Cutters: 2 HRs in 23 Plate Appearances
  • vs. Changeups: 2 HRs in 22 Plate Appearances
  • vs. 4-Seam Fastballs: 3 HRs in 46 Plate Appearances

These are very solid HR numbers and Soto’s odds today look very good. I love his chances to go yard!

Royce Lewis to Hit a Home Run (+600) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The last player I’m looking to target tonight is Royce Lewis. Lewis is extremely due for a homer, especially given the quality of contact he’s been making lately. He had two batted balls in yesterday’s game, both hit 101+ MPH with great launch angles and both went 378+ feet.

His launch angles have been solid the past week and he gets a great matchup with Rays pitcher Taj Bradley, who has struggled with allowing homers to right-handed batters in his career - 2.09 career HR per 9 innings ratio to righties. Lewis is 3 for his last 6 with a homer vs. Bradley, so he’s had success in this matchup. Not only is the matchup great, but the weather and ballpark are favorable for HRs, I love Royce Lewis and his chances to go yard tonight!
