The New York Yankees will look to avoid a three-game sweep on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers in tonight's Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN.
The Dodgers won an entertaining game on Friday, 8-5, and earned an 18-2 win in yesterday's game, where they ultimately sat their star players late in the game since the outcome was already out of reach.
The Yankees began the series with the better record overall. However, now the Dodgers have one more win than the Yankees heading into the final game of this series.
That said, the Dodgers easily have the better pitcher on the mound tonight in Yoshinobu Yamamoto. There is a high probability that the Yankees will get swept tonight, according to the sportsbooks.

New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Same-Game Parlay
Leg 1: Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 6.5 Ks (-116)
The Dodgers will send out Yoshinobu Yamamoto for tonight's matchup against the Yankees. Yamamoto has struck out 28.1% of batters over the last 30 days and has held opponents to 7.9% of walks. He's also kept his ISO down to .117 and has allowed a wOBA of .220 with 55.6% of ground balls against his last 114 batters.
Yamamoto will likely last about six innings. After all, the Yankees have six batters who have struck out at least 22.7% of the time against righties over the last month. The lineup also has four batters who have added a .292 wOBA or worse over the last month against righties.
With six targets and a high strikeout rate this season, I'd expect Yamamoto to be on his A-game.
Leg 2: Ryan Yarbrough Under 3.5 Ks (-102)
The left-handed starter, Ryan Yarbrough, has struck out 27.5% of righties to begin the season. However, he's only struck out 24.8% of batters overall and has earned just 20% of his strikeouts against lefties.
In addition, he's added 17.6% of strikeouts against lefties in the last month.
The Dodgers should have at least three lefties in the lineup, including Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Michael Conforto. There would be no surprise if the red-hot Max Muncy also got a start tonight for the Dodgers.
Additionally, the Dodgers have struck out only 18.7% of the time with their projected lineup. This doesn't include Muncy. Instead, it includes Kike Hernandez. But either way, the Dodgers will have a lineup that has struck out below 20% of the time against lefties in the last month.
Leg 3: Will Smith Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
Will Smith has launched a .375 ISO and wOBA of .700 against righties since returning to the lineup for the Dodgers. The Los Angeles catcher has struck out only 5% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days and has hit 60% of hard contact with a 13.3% barrel percentage.
He's also added 53.3% of line drives and has hit only 13.3% of ground balls. That's led to a BABIP of .643 against lefties over the last 30 days.
Although Ryan Yarbrough has been good against righties recently, he still allowed a .335 wOBA with nearly 25% of line drives against righties last season. There's reason to believe Smith can add another line drive to the outfield.
